·         List of cheques for approval – enclosed as Appendix A

 

  1. INTERIM PLANNING GUIDANCE ON AFFORDABLE HOUSING – To

receive from Cllr. D Beechey a draft response to the above paper.

 

  1. SURRENDER OF THE OLD SCHOOL LEASE – To receive an update and recommendation on the surrender of the Old School lease from Cllr. Nelson.

 

  1. LOCAL JOINT COMMITTEES – to decide on the Parish Council representative to serve on LJC number 18.

 

  1. MIDLANDS GAS ALLIANCE – Update on the upgrade of services to Albrighton and representation at a meeting on 1st May, 11.30 am at Westgate, Bridgnorth.

 

  1. THE ALBRIGHTON CIVIC SOCIETY – request for representation on this newly formed group and background papers attached.

 

  1. THE PARISH FLYER – update by the Cllr. Lusk on arrangements for the use of bus passes.

 

  1. REFURBISHMENT OF THE DEN – To consider a report by Cllr. Nelson on a request for funding from the Scouts and Guides for the refurbishment of the Den.

 

  1. SHROPSHIRE PARTNERSHIP SOUTHERN AREA FORUM – Update on arrangements for this new forum by Cllrs D Beechey and Murray.

 

  1. ALBRIGHTON TRADERS’ ASSOCIATION PROMOTIONAL MAP/LEAFLET – Request for a grant in support of the proposed promotional material.

 

  1. RECEPTION FOR BARHALE AND S.T.W. BY THE ALBRIGHTON COMMUNITY, 22nd APRIL – Update and final arrangements by Cllr. Nelson.

 

  1. ANNUAL PARISH MEETING 23rd APRIL at 7.30 in the Red House –update and final arrangements by the Chair of Council.
